It's taken a lot of work to get to a different mindset and I'm grateful to for the internal shift. You broke this concept down beautifully. Thank you for sharing this. I don't think I know anyone who hasn't been through something similar in their life. Including myself. All we ever what is to be accepted by those we think are important in our lives and often times we change who we are to measure up to who we think they expect us to be. I too am learning how to be my authentic self and let go of the need to change who I am in order for people to like and accept me. My tribe are those who accept me for who I truly am.
